Sally Frewen-Lord

Sally has been a committed and loyal supporter of the GBRO since its inception in 2000.

In 2010, she joined the committee and was instrumental in planning the 10 year Anniversary at the Ville.

From 2011 to the end of 2024, Sally has fulfilled the role of Orchestra Manager, and in that time has worked above and beyond her role description in building a community of enthusiastic musicians, liaising with guest conductors, planning concert programmes, managing our expanding music library, and numerous miscellaneous tasks.

In 2025, she passed this role on to the very capable Jess Winton, and has left the orchestra in a much stronger position. Her tireless efforts cannot be underestimated, and the GBRO can be truly thankful for the time she has given.
