Bruce Grice


Bruce Grice’s musical journey commenced at the age of 12, when he discovered his passion for piping. His debut performance took place during the 1990 Australia Day march in Ballina.

After playing with the Ballina Pipe Band for 5 years, Bruce joined the Queensland Irish Association Pipe Band and in 2008 was appointed the band’s Pipe Major. Then in 2018, Bruce received the prestigious Duine Uasal (D. Ua.) title from the Celtic Council of Queensland.

Bruce has played at the Festival Interceltique de Lorient in France seven times, and participated in the Kremlin Zoria Tattoo in Moscow. In 2019, he performed with the Tasmanian Police Pipe Band at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
