A Feast of Classics

The Barrier Reef Orchestra’s first concert of 2022 sees the return of Patrick Pickett, who led the April 2021 concert to rave reviews.

Our soloist, Ruby Luck, is a young pianist from Brisbane.  We are delighted to welcome her back to Townsville as, due to sudden illness, she was unable to perform with BRO in the 21st Birthday concert last year.

 

Featuring our guest conductor Patrick Pickett

Patrick Pickett is owner, Artistic Director/Conductor of the Queensland Pops Orchestra. This iconic orchestra has been renowned for quality entertainment since it was formed by Colin Harper in the mid 80′s. Patrick is delighted to lead the Pops on the next phase of its artistic evolution.
