Many thanks to the BRO Committee for awarding me the encouragement award, 2018. I spent the money on flights to Brisbane to be a part of the QSO ‘Day in the Orchestra’ where the performance happened to fall on my birthday. It was a great, two day intensive workshop with professional musicians and challenging repertoire.
